Basingstoke Sports Trust delivers a range of health programmes, and these programmes help people living with cancer, cardiac problems, Parkinson’s and many other health conditions. Your membership fee will be reinvested back into our facilities and services, which in turn will help make a difference to members of our local community.

Here’s what you can expect when you visit us:

If you or anyone you live with is experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, please DO NOT visit the Centre. Stay at home and contact the NHS on 111. The main symptoms of Covid-19 are:

A high temperature
A new, continuous cough
A loss of, or change to, your sense of taste or smell.

So we’re confident providing a safe environment for customers and team members, we have been working diligently to ensure compliance with the UK Government’s Covid-Secure guidance in conjunction with advice from national organisations such as Public Health England, ukactive, CIMSPA, Community Leisure UK and individual sport’s National Governing Bodies.

Social distancing applies at all times to keep our staff and customers safe.

This means staying a minimum of 2 metres away from others at all times and capacity in certain activities will be reduced until social distancing is relaxed. In order to be fair and accommodate as many members as possible, we will need to limit the duration for some activities.

There will also be gaps between sessions to allow our teams to carry out remedial cleaning.

Social Distancing At Basingstoke

As part of our enhanced cleaning protocol, we will be providing complimentary alcohol gel, blue tissue roll and disinfectant spray. We will have hand sanitisers at various locations throughout the building for our customers to use for our customers to use. To assist us in keeping the site Covid-19 free, we will be asking that you regularly wash or sanitise your hands (particularly before entering the building) and to use the disinfectant spray and blue tissue roll for cleaning any equipment used during your activity.
