Firstly, we send our very best wishes to you, your family and friends and hope you’re well and staying safe, particularly if taking advantage of being able to travel a little further to make the most of the great weather we’ve been having.
After the recent government announcement, we wanted to get in touch to advise you that we are still unable to give you a firm date when our Centres will be allowed to reopen. However, we do know that it could be early July and it is important that you know we are working really hard to make sure we’re as safe as possible for when you return.
Our approach to health, hygiene and cleanliness
You will not be surprised to hear that we will be putting various social distancing and cleanliness measures in place to keep all our members and teams safe when we reopen; your health and wellbeing being our top priority.
We are working closely with UK Active and Community Leisure UK and will be following guidance from the Government and Public Health England to deliver a safe environment for you to visit.
Supporting your health and fitness journey at home
We understand that having to wait may be disappointing, but we are still here to support your health and wellbeing and we have a number of ways to do so from your home:
In conjunction with our partners Big Wave Media and Shapemaster, we are continuously updating our Facebook page with exercise and fitness content and have the free “[email protected]” platform on our website, www.mybst.org . If you have not done so already, please follow our Facebook page to view these videos or go to our website. Please feel free to share this with friends and family.
For those of you who have continued to support the Trust by keeping your membership subscriptions active, you have free access to the BSTHomeFitness platform through Wellbeats, which can be accessed via your BST app on a Tablet or PC. Further updates for online classes and advice can be obtained via the Wellbeats Facebook page, [email protected] or their instagram page https://www.instagram.com/wellbeats. We’d highly recommend you follow these for all the latest tips, news and content. For those active members who have not received their login details, which may have gone into Junk or Spam folders, please email us at [email protected] and we will get this sorted for you without delay.
